Back in July Apple s CEO Tim Cook verified, a slight delay for the new iPhone line up. Today the company confirmed a September 15 special event. But we may wait a little longer to see new smart-phones marked with Apple.
Apple announced a special event on Tuesday to be held on September 15, 2020. That is in a week. This is possible because this is a virtual event, related to the one Apple hosted for the annual Worldwide Developers Conference earlier this year. So all of us will be tuning in online to see what Apple has for us in store. But the iPhones may not be new.
It has not given any specific date. which is not surprising . But that may not be coming to fruition for anyone looking, forward to seeing a new iPhone debut at this years September event.
Instead, the September event will reportedly focus on a new iPad model, or models, and the Apple Watch Series 6 /. The new smartwatch will reportedly feel blood oxygen monitoring as its primary new feature. The design is said to be similar to the Series 5.
Meanwhile there have been plenty of rumors about new iPad models. Back in August/ for instance/a leaked manual suggested thew (iPad Air 4 )would feature Touch ID built into the power button. That new iPad model may feature a display with minimal bezels / measuring between 10.8 inches and up to 11 inches.
But wait and there may be more
The reality is that we still, do not know exactly what Apple will announce, on September 15. We do know the iPhone 12 will be delayed by at least a few weeks. That means that the devices will not launch in October until sometime. This still makes it possible for Apple to announce the handsets next week. But that’s just not going to happen as possible.
That may leave space for other products. The Air-Tags for example. The Tile competitor is a small device rumored to have been tracking for months. On September 15 Apple could unveil that accessory. Although the last rumor suggested that the Air-Tags would be debuting in October alongside the iPhone 12
And then there’s the often rumored AirPods Studio/ the headphones that are over_ear. We’ve heard about those headphones now for what it feels like forever. On September 15/Apple could unveil these.
