The main aim in iOS jailbreak is to customize the iOS to the fullest. So Jailbreaking / iPhone jailbreaking is based on jailbreak tools for this iOS. These jailbreak tools have their own manager to handle jailbreaks and applications and are named as Kit Managers.

01.Cydia – Package Manager
Cydia is the most respected package manager in the jailbreak culture. Cydia is built by Jay Freeman (“saurik”) and SaurikIT, his firm. Cydia is known as “worm in the apple.” Freeman first launched Cydia as an open-source alternative to Installer.app on iPhone OS 1.1 in February of 2008.This will provide Jailbroken devices with GUI ( Graphical User Interface) as an APT (Advanced Packaging Tool) repository for installing jailbreak changes. These jailbreak tweaks aren’t available in the App store, and this is one of the most critical ways of downloading these changes.
Cydia stores SHSH blobs (digital signatures) used by Apple to validate iOS restorations (which are used by Apple to limit users to installing only For example, this means that a person with a jailbroken device who upgrades to a non-jailbreakable version of iOS can choose to downgrade back to a jailbreakable version.
But in the end, Saurik and CoolStar have struggled to reach an agreement between Electra and Cydia on compatibility problems. As a result, its own package manager named Sileo was released by CoolStar and the Electra team.

2.Sileo – Package Manager
Sileo is an alternative Cydia for iOS 11 and iOS 12, and supports iOS 13 in the new edition of Sileo. When there is Cydia you might think that we need Sileo. Ok, the answer to that is that Sileo will soon replace Cydia.
And it is the latest Chimera Jailbreak package manager that’s better than the old Cydia package manager. What does this signify? When you use Chimera Jailbreak to jailbreak, Sileo will automatically be installed in the same way as Cydia is installed in other jailbreak tools.
Chimera is the successor of Electra Jailbreak and supports some iOS 12 versions. Learn more about Chimera Jailbreak
3.Zebra Package Manager
Zebra is another package manager for iOS devices which are jailbroken. It’s optimized for iOS 9 up to iOS 13 and iPhones and iPads support.
Zebra is fully open-source, and was designed with pace. So it got more effective. In addition, Zebra lets you customize their software with dark mode and custom system management. This is one of the best features in Zebra, because other package managers like Cydia and Sileo don’t provide such a feature But what should be noted is that Zebra is still not a default Package Manager such as Sileo or Cydia. The Checkra1n team is said to connect Zebra to their installer on checkra1n. But there’s no practical explanation for that yet.
4.Installer 5 – Package Manager
Installer 5 is an alternative to Cydia, which can be found inside the Cydia folder. This is primarily for iOS 9 up to iOS 13.Installer.app is one of the most popular iOS Package Managers packed with over 100 features and more than 8192 interface configuration options. Installer lets you add several repositories from the clipboard at once, use OLED dark mode and view trending packages.
Installer.app may even show the number of packages in the repository, list the installed package files, browse through a broad repository database, follow a developer, and even restore your repositories and queue the packages installed from your backup with a single tap.
